Their recipe box for April 2020 is all about helping you detox your house! What a great time to be safe at home hiding from a pandemic than early spring. I don’t know about you, but I love spring cleaning! Vacuuming up all the dust that has accumulated all winter, putting away all the winter home decor, deep cleaning the bathrooms, washing all the windows, dusting, and finally breaking out the spring and Easter decorations!
April’s box comes with Clean & Fresh, Tea Tree, Peppermint and Lemongrass. Those are some me my favorite essential oils because they just scream CLEAN! The kit also contains 6 recipe cards including a recipe for Grout Scrub, containers to hold your creations, and a toothbrush to use with your homemade grout cleaner!

My favorite recipe was the Happy Home Diffuser Blend which I promptly put into my Simply Earth Diffuser (which is my favorite out of the 5 essential oil diffusers that I own.) It makes my house smell clean and fresh, which really helps me feel motivated to keep cleaning and decluttering the house!

My older kids (ages 9 and 12) really look forward to our Simply Earth Subscription Box arriving every month. They love making their own creations with the recipe cards and getting creative making their own blends (almost as much as they love making slime!?)
If you are stuck as home safe at home with your kids, this is a great Home Economics project. The kids love having a little DIY project to do and they learn how to be a good homemaker and keep the house tidy while having fun!
